Failure! — Regroup | Day 17: 100 Day Challenge: Zero to $10k a Day
The day started with Failure.
I had a call with Kathryn Porritt in the morning.
Did you ever meet someone or have an interview or encounter when the best part of it is “Hi! Nice to meet you,” and everything is downhill from there?
It’s like you are on the Titanic and everything is just sinking faster and faster.
There has been several times in the winter when I was driving during a snowstorm and the car just started to slide.
There’s nothing you can do.
You just hold on and hope for the best.
You are just along for the ride.
Same here. There was nothing I could do, I was just along for the ride — for a disaster in the making.
It was crazy too.
I had my notes and my questions to ask and I had gone over what I wanted to say.
None of that mattered.
She asked a question: “Tell me about Perry.” Maybe the one question I wasn’t ready for, so I went off on a tangent — and just kept on going…..
Crash. And burn.
Oh well.
The one thing I have learned from this life — and this Challenge — is that going forward is not a straight line.
There is a lot of deviation along the way, twists and turns that can sidetrack you or derail you if you are not careful.
Even if you are careful, the universe seems determined to test you and try to shake you off like riding a bucking horse in a rodeo. Anybody up for an 8 second ride?
You dust yourself off and try again.
So.
I am thinking about terminating the affiliate marketing offer totally and just concentrating on my primary offer — the 3 day “Discover Your Purpose” workshop.
This will be a luxury immersive experience for 3 to 8 people to identify their passion and purpose in life.
I have already taught this at an adult education school and on weekends to groups at a store we owned.
I am charged up about this offering and I am in the process of working out the details for the workshop.
It will be exciting!
